Assistant Professor of Business Analytics – Tenure Track
As part of our growth, we are looking for a colleague who can demonstrate outstanding research and teaching in the field of Business Analytics – regardless of the specific specialization. We explicitly encourage international applications. Knowledge of German is not required at Frankfurt School.
The Technology & Operations department at Frankfurt School focuses on cutting-edge research in the areas of Operations Research, Analytics applied to Operations, Decision Science, Information Systems, and Technology Management. Our faculty members use rigorous analytical and empirical methods to address important business questions in a variety of areas, including Supply Chain Management, Production and Service Management, Innovation Management, Revenue Management, and Healthcare. Members of the Technology & Operations department regularly publish in leading journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, MSOM, and POM, and maintain close ties with business leaders through teaching and consulting. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Management Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Decision Science, Information Systems, or similar disciplines) from an accredited institution and demonstrate outstanding research potential. The ideal candidate also shows potential for excellent teaching and is expected to contribute to Frankfurt School’s teaching portfolio in the areas of Business Analytics, Operations, and Technology Management. For newly appointed research-active faculty, Frankfurt School offers attractive teaching loads to support their research agenda.
