In the subject area of economics, the effects of economic policy measures on macroeconomic relationships are explained, and their fundamental impact on the business of credit institutions is assessed.

The bank business administrator program is aimed at motivated banking professionals working in credit institutions and other companies in the financial sector. The program focuses on economic fundamentals as well as practical knowledge from various areas of banking. Upon successfully passing the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) examination, graduates receive the state-recognized qualification “certified bank business administrator (IHK).”

Course content:

  • Macroeconomic framework data
  • Goods and capital markets
  • Money, credit, currency
  • Economic and social policy
  • Economic relations and competition

Lecture times:

  • In-person: Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • Approximately 6 lectures per semester, each consisting of 4 academic hours
