In the subject area of General Banking Management, students gain in-depth knowledge of the key areas within credit institutions and develop the ability to present and analyze objectives and tasks in banking operations.
The Bank Business Administrator program is aimed at motivated banking professionals working in credit institutions and other companies in the financial sector. The program focuses on economic fundamentals as well as practical knowledge from various areas of banking. Upon successfully passing the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) examination, graduates receive the state-recognized qualification “Certified Bank Business Administrator (IHK)”.
Course content:
- Framework conditions of banking operations
- Annual financial statements of credit institutions
- Bank controlling
- Banking policy
- Bank marketing
Lecture times:
- In-person: Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Approximately 6 lectures per semester, each consisting of 4 academic hours
