New Beginnings: Welcoming the Next Generation of Frankfurt School Students
The Openings at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management are much more than just traditional welcome events: they represent a significant milestone in the lives of our new students. Every year, we welcome hundreds of ambitious young people who have chosen to take control of their academic and professional futures by attending one of Europe's leading business schools. Whether you are studying for a Bachelor's, Master's, MBA or Doctoral degree, the opening ceremonies form part of the introductory events, providing a festive setting in which to begin an inspiring and formative study experience together. These events offer new students one of their first opportunities to meet each other, form networks and develop a sense of community that often lasts beyond the end of their studies.

The Openings involve much more than just the main celebration. During the days leading up to the ceremony, we provide a variety of activities that ease the transition into business school life and are fun at the same time. These include campus tours, workshops and introductory events that provide initial insights into course content, career planning and learning strategies. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with fellow students and lecturers.
Social activities are also an essential part of the first few days. They can lay the foundation for lifelong friendships – from get-togethers on the roof terrace to cultural activities in Frankfurt. Getting to know each other is particularly important during this period. We believe that personal connections and a strong network are as important as academic knowledge for achieving academic success.
