Contents
Corporate client advisors, investment advisors and trainees in the field of securities trading/treasury understand the advantages (opportunities) but also the risks of derivative financial products. Derivatives are "derivative" financial products whose value depends on the performance of other financial instruments, the underlying. Underlying assets can be other securities (e.g. shares, bonds), market-related benchmarks (interest rates, indices) or other trading objects (commodities, foreign exchange). Financial derivatives are traded in the form of standardised contracts on futures exchanges or over-the-counter. They can be used to move large volumes with a relatively small capital investment. In addition to the learning sequences, the online course contains a securities lexicon. A test allows you to check and document what you have learned.
Average learning time: 2.5 hours.
