Innovating Risk Management for Affordable Housing in Africa
Frankfurt School experts have equipped Shelter Afrique with cutting-edge risk management tools – from an operational risk event database to a housing finance rating methodology and a value-at-risk simulation tool for currency risk. These innovations strengthened Shelter Afrique’s risk management processes, enabling the institution to expand access to affordable, energy-efficient housing across Africa – and in doing so, foster job creation and sustainable growth.
