Assistant Professor of Macroeconomics
Fabian Seyrich is Assistant Professor of Macroeconomics at the Department of Economics at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Before joining in August 2024, he was a research associate at the DIW Berlin. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Freie Universität Berlin, a master’s degree in economics from the Freie Universität Berlin, and a bachelor’s degree from the Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg.
His research focuses on macroeconomy, in particular, on the role of household heterogeneity and households’ expectations for the transmission of business cycle shocks and for the effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policy. His research has been published in Journal of Monetary Economics and Journal of Political Economy Macroeconomics.
