Yuni Xiong is a doctoral student in Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, where she joined the Ph.D. program in September 2024. She holds an MSc in Finance from the National University of Singapore and a bachelor's degree in International Economics and Trade from Beijing Normal University, during which she also participated in a 1-year academic exchange in economics at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Before joining Frankfurt School, Yuni worked as a Research Assistant to Prof. Ben Charoenwong at NUS, contributing to projects on investor behavior and financial market dynamics. Her professional experience spans both the public and private sectors, including roles in quantitative strategy at Chicago Global, corporate governance research at Institutional Shareholder Services, and management consulting at Deloitte.
Her research currently centers on corporate finance and banking, particularly the evolving dynamics between firms, financial intermediaries, and regulatory environments. She also maintains a personal interest in gender equality and inclusive finance.
