Target Group
The programme is designed for high school graduates from all over the world who want to begin their studies in an internationally oriented, English-taught environment. It is practice-driven, rigorous and broad-based.
Study Model
You can complete your studies in Business Administration in the RegularTrack or CompactTrack, depending on which learning and lifestyle model you prefer. The RegularTrack spreads out across the whole week with varying schedules and focuses primarily on your time at university. The CompactTrack can be studied with or without a cooperation partner. You spend three fixed days at the employer and three fixed days at the university
During the long summer break, students have the opportunity to complete full-time internships.
Corporation Partner
You can study in cooperation with one of our corporation partners in the specialisations Finance, Digital Business, or Auditing & Consulting.
Our partner companies cover part of your tuition fees and provide you with an attractive salary.
Please note that many corporate partners allocate their positions up to a year in advance, so we recommend applying early. The company’s selection process is independent from the Frankfurt School’s admissions procedure – ideally, you should apply to both in parallel.

Admission Requirements
To apply for the Bachelor in Business Administration, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Recognised school leaving certificate (e.g. German Abitur, Fachabitur, IB Diploma, US HIgh School Diploma, A-Levels, European Baccalaureate or equivalent)
- If you are attending a high school with a different diploma than the above, please check the DAAD website for the exact requirements. The requirements are subject to change and we endeavour to provide up-to-date information.
- Proof of Required English Language Skills: As we have incorporated an English language test into our Assessment Centre, you are not required to submit an English certificate with your application. If you do not meet the English language requirements at our AC, we will contact you to discuss further options.
- Successful completion of our online Assessment Centre, which includes a mathematics test, a cognitive test, an English test and an interview.
Curriculum
Compulsory Modules: During the first three semesters, you will build the business foundation of your studies. You can complete the core courses in either German or English.
Concentration Modules: At the end of the second semester, you will choose two concentrations: Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, International Management, Politics, Society and the International Order, Marketing, Digital Business, Banking & Finance, Consulting & Finance or Auditing & Consulting (KPMG).
Study Abroad: A semester abroad is an integral part of the programme (two semesters for International Management). You will also complete an international internship – our Career Services team will support you in finding the right placement.
Main Studies: In the English-taught main phase, you will deepen your chosen concentration and can select up to four additional electives from a wide range of subjects.
Thesis: To complete your studies, you will write your Bachelor’s thesis on a topic of your choice.
ASSESSMENT CENTRE
Once you made sure that you fulfil the requirements for the Bachelor in Business Administration and took a look at our application checklist, you can start your online application via our online application form.
You will need to upload the following supporting documents:
- Recognised secondary school diploma* (Abitur, IB Diploma, US High School Diploma, A-Levels, European Baccalaureate, etc.)
- An optional letter of motivation (maximum 500 words)
- CV (resume)
- A copy of your passport or ID card
- Other documents, if applicable (references/letter of recommendation, extracurricular activities, certificates, awards, etc.
*Please note, your application will only be processed by the Admissions Office once you have paid the EUR 100 application fee.
At Frankfurt School, there is no numerus clausus (NC). Successful applicants will be invited to an Online Assessment Centre (AC).
We have rolling admissions, which allow you to receive a decision before the deadline.
In case you don’t meet the general admission requirements, you may still be eligible to apply for the BBA due to a new law in Germany. Please contact us for more information!

For the assessment, you will need a non-programmable calculator, regardless of brand or model.
In addition to your test results, your motivation and commitment also play an important role in the admission decision. All Assessment Center sessions take place online. Please note that your application must be submitted at least two weeks before your preferred date.
Frankfurt School offers a merit-based scholarship programme to ensure talented students from a diverse range of backgrounds can focus on their future without worrying about their finances. The Diversity Scholarship Programme aims to promote diversity amongst the Bachelor of Science student body and consists of a reduction in tuition fees of 15%, 25% or 50%. LEARNING GOALS
Graduates will have broad knowledge and a critical understanding of the key theories, principles and methods in Business Administration. They will be able to reflect on and classify professional and scientific statements.
Graduates will use their interdisciplinary knowledge and understanding to develop business solutions. They will evaluate the significance of different sources of information and base decision-making on a methodical approach according to the current state of science. Graduates will derive research objectives, apply research methods, describe results and explain outcomes.
Graduates will communicate effectively in oral and written form. They will formulate professional solutions to problems and represent these in discourse in a manner appropriate to the target group. They will also consider and reflect on different perspectives.
Graduates will understand the nature and significance of their ethical and professional responsibilities as well as the general principles of sustainability. They will be equipped to act responsibly and professionally at university, in society and in an international business environment by grounding their actions and decisions in their professional expertise. Graduates will be provided with the prerequisites to flourish and grow within the vibrant academic community at Frankfurt School and wider society.

Study Abroad
The programme prepares you for a global career. That’s why you will spend your fifth semester abroad at one of our partner universities and also complete an internship abroad. You can also add a second semester abroad if you wish.
Our International Office supports you in choosing a partner university and organising your stay abroad – from visas and housing to your motivation letter.

FAQ ABOUT BACHELOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
We recommend applying as early as possible, and no later than 30 June. Applications submitted after this date will be considered if places remain available. You don’t need your final school certificate yet – your last two transcripts are sufficient. Assessment Centre dates are offered regularly throughout the year.
If you’d like to study with one of our corporate partners (Finance or Digital Business), you need to apply both to Frankfurt School and directly to the company. Most companies recruit a year in advance, so early application is key. Our team is happy to support you throughout the process.
Yes. If you are neurodiverse, living with a disability, or managing a chronic condition, please contact us as early as possible. We can advise you individually and make arrangements such as extra time in the Assessment Centre.

There are two lecture-free periods each year – between Christmas and the end of January, and from the end of May to the end of August. Exact dates may vary slightly each semester.
