This programme is aimed at analytically minded graduates who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge in data science and AI. Suitable candidates possess strong mathematical foundations in fields such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, or physics, and demonstrate a pronounced curiosity for complex data challenges.

Study Mode

Our innovative 3-day model (two weekdays plus Saturday) enables intensive academic study while simultaneously allowing practical experience through internships or part-time positions. By combining academic excellence with practical application, graduates gain a competitive advantage through solid knowledge and professional experience even during their studies.

Admission Requirements

To apply for the Master of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programme, applicants must meet certain academic requirements. An application fee of €100 applies.
Please note: The Frankfurt School Admission Test (BT Methods) can only be taken once.

  1. First academic degree (Bachelor) of at least 180 ECTS credits
  2. Strong quantitative and analytical skills (through high scores on GMAT, GRE or FS tests, a STEM degree or other evidence)
  3. Excellent written and spoken English (TOEFL 90 iBT, IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)
  4. Valid GMAT/GRE score or Frankfurt School Admission Test (BT Methods)
  5. Successful admissions interview

Curriculum

The curriculum is built on four pillars: Technological Competence provides a solid foundation in AI, machine learning, statistics, and cloud computing. In Business Process Integration, you will learn how data enables informed decision-making and strengthens organisational performance. The Ethics & Law pillar addresses the ethical and legal challenges of AI, fostering responsible action. Applied Innovation allows you to apply your knowledge in real projects and transform data into business success.

COMPANY COOPERATION PROJECT

During the third semester, students test the knowledge from previous semesters by working on real business use-cases together with leading companies. Over 3-4 months, students work closely on their project with the company from start to finish, gaining end-to-end, hands-on experience to prepare them for job market.

LEARNING GOALS

Graduates will have an in-depth knowledge and a critical understanding of the key theories, principles and methods in Data Science. They will be able to identify, analyse and evaluate complex data problems.

Graduates will have the ability to construct and critically assess computational, data-driven models to solve complex data problems in business.

Graduates will be able to communicate effectively in academic and/or private business contexts. They will formulate technical problem solutions and represent them in discourse. They are responsible team members who address and reflect different perspectives.

Graduates are practised collaborators in business environments. They have a thorough understanding of their ethical and legal responsibilities as applied data scientists. They will base their professional activities on theoretical and methodological knowledge.

FERI Group is an independent multi-asset investment firm offering tailored solutions for institutional investors, families, and foundations. The part-time role in Investment Client Management involves preparing investment proposals, tenders, and client pitches. FERI covers 50% of tuition fees. Students work three days a week, earning at least €1,900 per month.

FAQ ABOUT MASTER OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & DATA SCIENCE

With a Master of Science of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, you can work as a data scientist, data analyst, machine learning engineer, or business intelligence expert. The GMAT/GRE is required. Alternatively, you can also take our internal admissions test (BT Methods).

The 3-day model means that classes are concentrated into three days. Our students have classes two business days and one Saturday, letting them work part-time while studying full-time.  

If your bachelor's programme was conducted in English, the English test requirement may be waived.
