Professor of Management (Education)
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a full-time Professor of Management (Education). The ideal candidate will have extensive teaching experience in management with a demonstrated interest in and commitment to teaching and excellence along with programme development, leadership and scholarly development in management education. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to teaching in any area of management and to the overall development of the Management Department and of Frankfurt School as a whole. Your profile:
- Ph.D. or equivalent academic qualification in the field of Management or a closely related discipline;
- Significant teaching and research accomplishments in any area of Management, including human resources, operations, marketing and entrepreneurship or related fields, demonstrated through sound knowledge in the subject area / discipline;
- Excellence in teaching and in educational leadership and innovation (e.g., through programme development and leadership, etc.);
- Relevant scholarly activities with publications in international journals and conferences;
- Experience in supporting the development of curriculum
- Experience in international co-operation with universities and scientific institutions;
- Experience in academic administration and self-governance at university-level;
- Outstanding proficiency in communication and teaching in both English and German;
- International experience.
Your duties:
- Teaching and delivery of management courses across the various FS degree programmes;
- Leading modules; coordinating with external and internal colleagues;
- Mentoring students and thesis supervision;
- Maintaining strong industry and corporate connections;
- Potential involvement in executive education in your field of expertise;
- Performing services for the School (e.g., in the context of academic committees, etc.);
- Contributing to thought leadership and the academic community;
- Cooperation with the FS Departments and Centers and with other stakeholders in the ecosystem of Frankfurt School;
- Exhibiting sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, social, economic, cultural, international, and ethnic backgrounds of the FS students.
