Finance is a central mechanism for mobilizing resources that are playing a critical role in addressing sustainability priorities to ensure long-term environmental health, social well-being, and economic stability.

By integrating sustainability into strategic planning and financial decision-making, we help clients design impactful policies and processes, develop responsive financing mechanisms and mobilise sustainable investments. Our work bridges the public and private sectors, balances environmental and social objectives with economic development needs and enables stakeholders to respond to risks and opportunities, as well as meet sustainable commitments, including socio-ecological resilience green economic growth.

The Frankfurt School – UNEP Collaborating Centre for Sustainable Finance is a strategic cooperation between the Frankfurt School and UN Environment Programme. The FS-UNEP Centre strives to foster transformational changes by collaborating with financial sector stakeholders through strategic and operational advisory services and practical solutions. The Centre takes a unique approach by combining scientific and applied research and on-the-ground expertise to finance the transition towards a greener, resilient future.
