Frankfurt School is already running its third cohort of a global English-language development programme for executives at GELITA AG. The hybrid model is key to learning success: virtual training elements for questions and coordination complement the curriculum. A coach supports the participants, who actively network beyond the programme.
THE IDEA
Participants gain fundamental and in-depth financial and leadership knowledge in three modules. The programme is characterised in particular by focused and business-relevant action learning, accompanied by many interactive elements with management and senior executives.
THE PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
For many years, the company has been developing managers with a particular focus on specific countries. The programme aims to regularly prepare and network employees in cohorts from diverse business areas, functions and across global borders for upcoming challenges in a management context. The central focus is on examining one's own leadership role and the associated expectations and requirements. Key training elements are accompanied by projects selected by the company's executive board and based on specific needs. The cohorts develop these topics using their own resources. The participants present the final concept to the executive board and their project sponsors, who are selected from senior management.
GOALS AND LEARNING JOURNEY
For an interactive learning journey, key elements such as practical relevance, content focus and learning formats were defined in advance with the instructors and designed with a high "learning pulse".
The aim is to enable individual learning experiences and to transfer these both to the course of the project and to the participants' own everyday work. Participants reflect on their own understanding of their roles, the content they have learned and its transfer into practice. In doing so, they can deepen their knowledge through digital learning impulses and various accompanied and internal company exchange formats.
In addition, participants work concretely and intensively on their projects. The learning units are evaluated regularly in order to assess and adapt the programme and ensure its transfer into practice.

COMPLETION, CONTINUATION AND FEEDBACK
The conclusion together with the management and the connection to an alumni network strengthen the cohort community and enable graduates to engage as peers in the future and be part of the company-wide network.
