Target Group

Our Summer School is tailored for ambitious learners at key transition points in their academic journey. It welcomes undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines who wish to deepen their knowledge of business, finance, management, and up-to-date topics, as well as recent high school graduates (at least 18 years of age) exploring bachelor-level studies in a global context. The programme is equally well-suited for international participants eager to experience life at a top German business school while building valuable professional connections.

The two-week programme adopts an intensive study model comprising 80 hours of contact learning, 40 hours of independent study, and 5 hours dedicated to assessment activities.

Contact hours include lectures, seminars, workshops, company visits, and a structured excursion designed to contextualise theoretical concepts within real-world environments.

FAQ ABOUT SUMMER SCHOOL: THE FINANCE & MANAGEMENT BOOTCAMP

The programme is open to both German and international students who are undergraduate or master’s students from all disciplines wishing to deepen their knowledge of business, finance, and management. Recent high school graduates exploring bachelor-level studies in a global context are also eligible. The programme is equally suited for international participants eager to experience life at a top German business school and build professional networks.

The Bootcamp is a two-week intensive programme:
• Week 1 - Finance: covering core finance topics, potentially including green finance, blockchain, behavioural economics, and more.
• Week 2 - Management: focusing on strategy, leadership, marketing, and other fundamental management disciplines.
Learning is delivered through lectures, workshops, case studies, simulations, and group projects led by Frankfurt School faculty and industry experts.

Participants receive a Certificate of Participation. In previous editions, the Bootcamp awarded 5 ECTS credits, with the possibility of earning up to 7 ECTS depending on extra assignments.
