FS Mentoring Programme
Bringing together alumni and current students
The Mentoring Programme of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management has one important aim: Supporting students in starting their careers after graduation by providing them with an alumna or alumnus as a mentor over a period of 10 months. This not only increase the student’s ability to start in the real world but connects different generations of students and alumni – which strengthens the Frankfurt School Community.

How does it work?
The one-to-one Mentoring Programme starts once a year. It focusses on the individual career-related questions of the mentees. Mentors act as sparring partners to support their mentee.
Benefits for mentors and students
Mentors can pass on their experiences to the next generation of Frankfurt School students. They expand their network and exchange with future experts and managers while also training their communication and leadership skills.
Our mentors:
- Are Frankfurt School alumni with at least five years of full-time work experience
- Have time to intensively support a student for a period of 10 months
- Are interested in an intensive exchange with a current student of Frankfurt School
- Have an open mind towards new ideas and perspectives
Mentees
The mentee's individual topics and ideas are the core of the programme. Mentees receive individual support with their career planning. They can share ideas and experiences at eye level with an experienced mentor, plan and implement the next career steps together and grow their Frankfurt School network. The programme is part of the overall career support offered by Frankfurt School Career Services.
Our mentees:
- Are students from Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in their last year of studies or recent graduates from the management studies programme
- Are looking for individual support to reach their career goals
- Are open to new ideas and criticism
- Are reliable and take responsibility for planning their time together with their mentor
