Carola Menzel-Hausherr

Ms. Carola Menzel has a consolidated background in sustainable energy, development finance and institutional development. In addition to her Master of Business Administration which she gained in 2004, she managed to collect a fair amount of practical expertise in different international assignments, such as the German Development Services, the Austrian Development Agency and the United National Industrial Development Organization. In her role as project manager and consultant, Ms. Menzel has been involved in developing and implementing several sustainable energy projects (off-grid and on-grid solutions) in Europe and Africa and was involved in capacity building for, and promotion of sustainable energy.

Regarding her employment at International Advisory Services, Ms. Menzel has been involved in various projects with focus on development finance and sustainable energy finance. She is currently coordinating the National Climate Finance Institution Programme, which is part of the Frankfurt School – UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance.
