We partner financial institutions to strengthen access to finance for smallholder farms and agricultural cooperatives as well as provide demand-driven technical support to local financial institutions willing to increase their farmers’ and agricultural cooperatives’ portfolios.
Sustainable Rural Development
The development of value chains is an integral part of sustainable rural economy's diversification. We are committed to strengthening value chains in our program implementation, ranging from coordination among cooperatives to rebuilding linkages between agro-businesses and farmers.
We also support financial institutions in risk management, loan portfolio development as well as identifying opportunities in value chain financing.
