Co-Pierre Georg ist Professor of Practice in Digital Finance and Technology an der Frankfurt School of Finance & Management und Direktor des Frankfurt School Zentrum für Digitalwirtschaft. Er forscht im Bereich der Finanztechnologie und digitaler Eigentumsrechte. Seine Forschung wurde in führenden internationalen Fachzeitschriften wie dem Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Economic Theory, Operations Research und Nature Physics veröffentlicht. Er promovierte in Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena und absolvierte seinen Master am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie. Zuvor war Co-Pierre Georg Professor an der Universität Kapstadt, wo er als NRF/DSI Dual Research Chair in Blockchain Technology sowie als Research Chair der South African Reserve Bank tätig war. Co-Pierre war außerdem Ökonom am Forschungszentrum der Deutschen Bundesbank und ist Research Associate am Center for Global Legal Transformation der Columbia University und der Oxford Martin School for the 21st Century.
