Assistant Professor für Managerial Accounting

Hari Ramasubramanian ist Assistenzprofessor für Managerial Accounting an der Frankfurt School. Er hat einen Doktortitel in Rechnungswesen (2021) von der Michigan State University. Von 2019 bis 2021 war er Deloitte-Doktorandenstipendiat. Hari hat einen Bachelor- und einen Master-Abschluss in Rechnungswesen von der University of Mumbai, Indien, und ist seit 2010 assoziiertes Mitglied des Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) und seit April 2017 Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Er erzielte bei der CMA-Prüfung im Februar 2017 die höchste Punktzahl und war außerdem All India Rank Holder in CAPE-I (Mai 2004) und CAPE-II (November 2005).

Bevor er 2016 dem PhD-Programm beitrat, arbeitete Hari bei der ICICI Prudential Life Insurance und war Mitbegründer der Raising a Mathematician Foundation (RAMF), wo er die akademischen Angelegenheiten leitete. Er war auch Ausbilder für Studenten, die in Indien den Abschluss als Chartered Accountancy (CA) anstreben. Er verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrungen im Bildungsbereich und hat Vorbereitungskurse vom Bachelor bis zum Master unterrichtet. Das Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hat seine Leistungen im Bildungsbereich 2015 anerkannt.

Seine Forschung konzentriert sich darauf, wie Unternehmen eine Vielzahl von Kontrollinstrumenten einsetzen können, um die Ergebnisse für Unternehmen und Mitarbeiter zu verbessern. Zu seinen Forschungsthemen gehören insbesondere Kostenmanagement, Leistungsmessung und Mechanismen zur Betrugsbekämpfung.

Er hat auf zahlreichen internationalen Konferenzen Vorträge gehalten und in Fachzeitschriften wie Journal of Accounting and Economics, Contemporary Accounting Research, Issues in Accounting Education und Journal of Medical Internet Research Artikel veröffentlicht.
