Professor Dr. Jürgen Strohhecker ist seit 1999 Professor für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Produktionswirtschaft und Controlling an der Frankfurt School (vor 1997 HfB).
Jahrgang 1968. Abitur 1987 am Hebel-Gymnasium Schwetzingen. 1987-1992 Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Mannheim. 1992-1996 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Industrieseminar der Universität Mannheim. 1997 Promotion zum Dr. rer. pol. durch die Fakultät für Betriebswirtschaftslehre. 1995 bis 2001 hauptverantwortlicher Geschäftsführer der SIMCON Gesellschaft für Managementsimulation & Consulting.
Januar bis August 2002 Visiting Research Fellow an der London Business School. 2005 bis 2009 Sprecher des Management Research Centre. 2006 bis 2010 Vorstand für System Dynamics in Forschung und Lehre der Deutschen Gesellschaft für System Dynamics e.V. (DGSD). Von 2010 bis 2014 Präsident der DGSD. Seit 2011 Mitglied im Nominations Committee der System Dynamics Society. 2014 President Elect und 2015 President der System Dynamics Society.
Themenbereiche in der Lehre sind System Dynamics, Produktions- management, Supply Chain Management, Controlling sowie Kosten- und Erlösrechnung. Prof. Dr. Strohhecker forscht u.a. zu Fragestellungen des dynamisch-komplexen Entscheidens, verhaltensorientiertem Operations Management und Controlling sowie der Produktionssteuerung. Er erhielt 1998 den Förderpreis der Prechel-Stiftung für seine Dissertation und wurde (gemeinsam mit Prof. Dr. Rainer Sibbel) für das Lehrmodul „Operations Management“ im Rahmen des Hessischen Hochschulpreises für Exzellenz in der Lehre 2010 ausgezeichnet. Das Modul kam unter die besten zwölf von insgesamt 57 Bewerbungen.
