Professor für Industrieökonomie und Mikroökonomie

Prof. Dr. Markus Reisinger ist seit August 2015 Professor für Industrieökonomie und Mikroökonomie an der Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Bevor er zur Frankfurt School of Finance & Management kam war er von 2011 bis 2015 Professor an der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar. Er promovierte an Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, an der er auch sein Diplom in Volkswirtschaftslehre machte. Er war Gastforscher am Institut für Industrieökonomie (IDEI) der Universität Toulouse, an der Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University und an der Booth School of Business, University of Chicago und hatte eine Vertretungsprofessur an der Freien Universität Berlin inne.

Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der Industrieökonomie und der Wettbewerbspolitik. Seine Forschungsarbeiten wurden in Zeitschriften wie dem Journal of Political Economy, dem RAND Journal of Economics und Management Science veröffentlicht. Er unterrichtet Microeconomics I and II und Strategic Competition.
