Graduation Ceremony 2025

On 17 May, 433 Frankfurt School graduates celebrated their successful completion of studies with friends and family at the Alte Oper. Graduates of the Bachelor in Betriebswirtschaftslehre (BA), Bachelor in Business Administration (BSc), Bachelor in Computational Business Analytics (BSc), Bachelor in Management, Philosophy & Economics (BSc), Part-time Master of Finance, Executive MBA and the doctoral programme were bid farewell in three ceremonies.

A special highlight of the graduation ceremonies are the speeches by FS alumni, who congratulated the graduates and gave them valuable advice for their future careers. The three speakers were Nasim Amini, Managing Director, Head of Ultra High Net Worth & Investment Advisory Germany, HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit Germany (Management Programme, 2006), Lukas Prinz, Group Head, Motel One (Bachelor in Business Administration, 2020) and Sergej Epp, Global CISO at Sysdig (Bachelor in Business Informatics, 2010).

As always, the most exciting part of the programme was the presentation of the diplomas on stage by Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO of Frankfurt School. The Student Reflections, in which one student from each year looks back on their time at Frankfurt School, rounded off the programme of the ceremony.

The graduation ceremonies also provided the perfect setting to honour outstanding academic achievements. Professor Dr Ansgar Richter, Dean of Faculty at Frankfurt School, presented the Academic Excellence Award to the year's best students from all academic programmes. Students with a GPA of 1.2 (92% or higher) were included on the Dean's List. The Hagenmüller Award commemorates the founder of the Bankakademie, Frankfurt School's predecessor institution, Prof Dr Karl Friedrich Hagenmüller. The Hagenmüller foundation presented the prize to the best students of the Business Administration programme in 2024 and 2025. In addition, Sarah Schmidtke, Managing Director of Interessengemeinschaft Frankfurter Kreditinstitute IFK and Bankenverband Mitte, presented the IFK Award to the three best students on our full-time degree programmes.
