ABOUT

His expertise in business model transformation extends beyond consulting to hands-on entrepreneurial responsibility. As Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of a new mobility start-up, he led IT and digitalisation with a team of approximately 40 employees. As founder and Managing Director, he established an automotive software start-up. These experiences shape his approach to developing and scaling digital and AI-based business models, as well as transformation and growth strategies that consistently translate technological potential into economic value.

Casimir Ortlieb studied Industrial Engineering and Management in Aachen, London and Madrid and holds a doctorate in Innovation Management.

In the programme Strategic Restructuring & Transformation, he leads the second day of the first module, focusing on "(AI) Transformation & Business Model Reinvention". Key topics include identifying and quantifying business model crises, redesigning key value drivers and operating models under time and liquidity constraints, and leveraging AI as a driver of economic value in turnaround situations – from evaluating specific use cases to developing a 100-day plan for effective AI implementation.
