On Friday, 8 March, the Opening Ceremony for the Bachelor in Business Administration (lateral entry) took place on the Frankfurt campus. The Opening Ceremony marks the beginning of studies for a total of 62 first-semester students in the new intake.

The evening was moderated by Magdalena Gehring, BA Programme Manager, who, after her introduction, handed over to Professor Dr Ansgar Richter, Vice President Academic Affairs, who welcomed the new students to Frankfurt School.

A special highlight of the evening was the FS Spirit speech delivered by Leonard Tischel, a Bachelor in Business Administration student at Frankfurt School. “It is a great honour for me to welcome you here today on behalf of the entire cohort and the student body at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management,” said Leonard Tischel. In his address, he emphasised the unique FS community: “The Frankfurt School Spirit is openness - an openness that everyone shows to one another here on campus and that makes it so easy to meet new people and build networks. Take advantage of this opportunity and be just as open to meeting new people. Be part of the great Frankfurt School community and live this spirit.”

The new students concluded the Opening Ceremony with a relaxed get-together, making their first connections within the Frankfurt School community.
