CHE University Ranking: Frankfurt School achieves excellent results – based on student evaluations

The latest CHE University Ranking 2026/27, published by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE), has been released. Frankfurt School participated in Business Administration and Business Information Systems and achieved a number of top results. In the student survey for Business Administration, Frankfurt School is placed in the top group across all 12 categories, with ratings above 4 stars and up to 4.5 stars. In the previous ranking, it achieved top results in all 14 categories. Frankfurt School also performs very strongly in Business Information Systems, with ratings of up to 4.8 out of 5 stars and top group placements in key categories.
Compared to the previous CHE ranking, these results once again demonstrate the consistently high quality of teaching and the overall student experience at Frankfurt School.
The CHE Ranking 2026/27 evaluates the following categories as part of the student survey: “General study situation”, “Range of courses”, “Study organisation”, “Support from teaching staff”, “Support during studies”, “Examination organisation”, “Rooms”, “Study and work spaces”, “Library”, “Digital learning”, “Career and practical orientation” and “Support for studying abroad”.
Professor Dr Christian Landau, Vice President Degree Programmes at Frankfurt School, highlights the importance of the ranking for prospective students: “The CHE Ranking is a reliable source of information, as it includes students’ perspectives and provides a comprehensive view of study quality. The CHE Ranking has been one of the most comprehensive and influential university rankings in the German-speaking world for more than 25 years. Each year, a selection of subjects is reassessed; in the 2026/27 cycle, this includes Business Administration and Business Information Systems. More than 250 universities and higher education institutions take part. In addition to student feedback, data on teaching and research are also included. Top-ranked in national and international Rankings
Frankfurt School also performs strongly in international rankings. In the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2026, it is ranked 92nd worldwide (31st in Europe, 4th in Germany). In the SZ Ranking 2026, it achieved first place in the categories “Business, Management & Entrepreneurship” and “Finance, Accounting & Banking”. In the “Best Auditors” ranking by manager magazin, Frankfurt School is also among the leading institutions in Germany. These results further highlight the consistently high quality of its programmes and its strong international competitiveness.
