10 Years FS Spirit Award: Frankfurt School thanks dedicated students
On 8 May 2026, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management hosted its annual President’s Reception for Student Leaders. With this reception, the business school honours students who show exceptional commitment to the FS community beyond their studies.
Professor Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO of Frankfurt School, welcomed around 140 students at Ommia Restaurant & Bar in Frankfurt. Guests included members of the Student Council and Supervisory Board, representatives of student initiatives, class representatives, ambassadors and student mental health first aiders. Through their commitment, ideas and support for their fellow students, they all help shape life at Frankfurt School.
A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of the FS Spirit Award, which celebrated its tenth anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, alumni all former FS Spirit Award winners were invited back to celebrate this special milestone. The award honours students who have made an outstanding contribution to the Frankfurt School community and who embody the FS spirit in a special way.
The FS Spirit Award 2026 went to Fleur Dolmetsch (Bachelor of Science, CBA, Class of 2027) and William Hongach (Bachelor of Science, CBA, Class of 2026). With their exceptional commitment, they have enriched student life at Frankfurt School and made an important contribution to the FS community. Congratulations!
To mark the award’s anniversary, Frankfurt School alumnus Fabian Aymanns, one of the first two winners of the FS Spirit Award, reflected on his time at Frankfurt School. He emphasised what the award represents to him: “Not individual excellence, but contribution to a community. A community that challenges you, supports you, and sometimes carries you when things don’t go as planned.” His appeal to the students: stay connected, come back and give back to the community.
