Prof. Dr. Andreas Walter has been teaching at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since 2010. There, he is the academic director of the Master of Banking Law programme. He is also a professor at IU International University.
After studying law in Frankfurt, Mainz and Marburg, he earned his doctorate in law from Philipps University in Marburg.
Andreas is a solicitor specialising in banking law and co-managing partner of the medium-sized law firm Schalast Law | Tax. His research primarily focuses on the interface between the structuring of banking products and banking supervisory law. He also regularly represents companies in the financial industry in legal disputes.
