Senior Lecturer
Gerit Wagner is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems Education at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Previously, he was a Junior Professor of Digital Work at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Research Chair in Digital Health (Prof. Guy Paré, Ph.D.) at HEC Montréal. He studied at the University of Regensburg, the University of Oulu, and HEC Montréal, and completed his PhD in 2019 at the University of Regensburg.
In his current research, Gerit Wagner focuses on digital, platform-based, and knowledge-intensive work as well as digital health. A particular interest lies in the theoretical, methodological, and design-oriented foundations of literature reviews and knowledge synthesis. His work has been published, among others, in the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, European Journal of Information Systems, Information & Management, The Lancet Digital Health, Journal of Medical Internet Research, Journal of Decision Systems, and Decision Support Systems.
He regularly presents his work to international audiences and has received Best Paper and Outstanding Reviewer awards, including from the Journal of Information Technology, the International Conference on Information Systems, and the Conference of the Administrative Sciences of Canada (ASAC). In addition, he serves regularly as an ad hoc reviewer for international journals and conferences.
