Assistant Professor of Finance

Maximilian Jager is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. His research focuses on topics related to financial intermediation and financial regulation. His research has been published in leading international journals such as the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Banking & Finance. He has been invited to present his research at leading international conferences such as the AFA or the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS) conference.
Maximilian Jager is associated with the Frankfurt Competence Centre for German and Global Regulation (FCCR). He obtained his doctorate in economics from the University of Mannheim and studied at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the University of Regensburg. Maximilian Jager has paid research visits to the Bundesbank, the Bank For International Settlements as well as the NYU Stern School of Business.
