Born in Biedenkopf on 22 February 1960. 1980-1985, studies of economics at the Philipps University in Marburg. 1986-1990, assistant lecturer at the chair of bank management at the Philipps University in Marburg. Doctorate in business administration in 1990. 1992-1999 university assistant at the chair of business informatics at the Philipps University in Marburg. Postdoctoral lecturing qualification and private lecturer appointment in 1998. Since October 1999, Professor of General Business Administration, with emphasis on Applied Business Informatics and Information Technology, at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
