The programme is taught entirely in English on a full-time basis. You’ll attend lectures four to five days a week (Monday to Saturday) with at least one free day. Alongside studies, you can also take up a working student job to gain real-world experience. During the long summer break, students have the opportunity to complete full-time internships.

Admission Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor in Computational Business Analytics you need to meet the following requirements:

  1. Recognised school leaving certificate (e.g. German Abitur, Fachabitur, IB Diploma, US HIgh School Diploma, A-Levels, European Baccalaureate or equivalent)
  2. If you are attending a high school with a different diploma than the above, please check the DAAD website for the exact requirements. The requirements are subject to change and we endeavour to provide up-to-date information.
  3. Proof of Required English Language Skills: As we have incorporated an English language test into our Assessment Centre, you are not required to submit an English certificate with your application. If you do not meet the English language requirements at our AC, we will contact you to discuss further options.
  4. Successful completion of our online Assessment Centre, which includes a mathematics test, a cognitive test, an English test and an interview.

ASSESSMENT CENTRE

Once you made sure that you fulfil the requirements for the Bachelor in Computational Business Analytics and took a look at our application checklist, you can start your online application via our online application form. 

You will need to upload the following supporting documents:

  • Recognised secondary school diploma* (Abitur, IB Diploma, US High School Diploma, A-Levels, European Baccalaureate, etc.) 
  • An optional letter of motivation (maximum 500 words)
  • CV (resume)
  • A copy of your passport or ID card
  • Other documents, if applicable (references/letter of recommendation, extracurricular activities, certificates, awards, etc.

*Please note, your application will only be processed by the Admissions Office once you have paid the EUR 100 application fee. 

At Frankfurt School, there is no numerus clausus (NC). Successful applicants will be invited to an Online Assessment Centre (AC). 

We have rolling admissions, which allow you to receive a decision before the deadline.

 In case you don’t meet the general admission requirements, you may still be eligible to apply for the CBA due to a new law in Germany. Please contact us for more information!

For the assessment, you will need a non-programmable calculator, regardless of brand or model.

In addition to your test results, your motivation and commitment also play an important role in the admission decision. All Assessment Center sessions take place online. Please note that your application must be submitted at least two weeks before your preferred date.

Frankfurt School offers a merit-based scholarship programme to ensure talented students from a diverse range of backgrounds can focus on their future without worrying about their finances. The Diversity Scholarship Programme aims to promote diversity amongst the Bachelor of Science student body and consists of a reduction in tuition fees of 15%, 25% or 50%. Core Courses
During the first three semesters, you will build the business foundation of your studies. In addition to core business modules, our IT and Data Science courses will broaden your future career opportunities.

Specialisations
To further tailor your studies, you can choose from a wide range of specializations, including Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Politics, Society and the International Order, Marketing, Banking & Finance and Consulting & Finance.

Study Abroad
A semester abroad is an integral part of the programme. You will also complete an international internship – with full support from our Career Services team.

Main Studies
In the main phase of your studies, you will deepen your chosen specialisations and further expand your interests through a wide variety of electives.

Thesis
You will complete your studies by writing your Bachelor’s thesis on a topic of your choice.

Frankfurt School offers a range of specialised scholarships designed to support outstanding Bachelor of Science students. These scholarships recognise academic excellence, diversity, and commitment. Applicants can apply directly via the online form’s scholarship section.

Studienstiftung logo

Students recommended for a German Merit Foundation scholarship receive fast-track BSc admission, completing only an online application, an interview, and a language proficiency test. They receive 50% tuition off, rising to 75% from semester 3 if accepted by the Foundation.

Brain Capital funds follow the Reverse Generation Contract (UGV), where graduates repay a fixed percentage of their income only after completing their studies and reaching the minimum income threshold.

FAQ ABOUT BACHELOR IN COMPUTATIONAL BUSINESS ANALYTICS

Yes. You’ll work on real company projects and complete an internship as part of the course, gaining hands-on experience before graduation. Our CBA programme helps you turn data into smart decisions. With both technical and business skills, you can solve real problems and stand out in any industry.

The application portal is open from 1 September 2025 to 30 June 2026. Late applications may be accepted in exceptional cases. We have rolling admissions, and you’ll usually receive a decision within two weeks of completing the online assessment test. We recommend applying early, as places are limited.

No, not at all. You’ll learn programming from the basics in your first semester. An interest in data and technology will certainly help, but no prior coding skills are required.

You should be comfortable with basic maths and logical thinking. A strong interest in problem-solving is more important – the programme will help you develop the advanced maths skills you need along the way.
