Curriculum
The curriculum provides a solid foundation in business administration while also offering innovative specialisations tailored to global career paths. Through company projects and direct collaboration with corporate partners from Frankfurt School’s network, you will gain hands-on practical experience.
CONCENTRATIONS
This specialisation systematically examines how companies shape international markets and organisational processes to enhance their competitive position. It enables you to develop the analytical and practical skills required in today’s rapidly changing business environment. The Global Strategy specialisation within the Master in Management programme prepares you for a career in management consulting, executive assistance, or strategy and corporate development.
The “Strategic Communication and Leadership” concentration in the Master in Management prepares students for leadership roles in the fields of strategic or corporate communication, policy-making, leadership, diversity and change management, as well as marketing. Building on theories from psychology, sociology, management, and economics, the concentration is designed to develop competencies in people analytics. Upon completing this concentration, students will enhance their ability to manage people, political situations, and organisational challenges. They will learn how to motivate and lead individuals and teams, and how to design organizations to achieve strategic goals.
The strategic and effective design of operational capabilities, combined with expertise in digital business, represents a strong source of long-term competitive advantage. Students learn how an organisation can achieve sustainable growth through digital transformation and operational strategies. This concentration covers key decisions regarding facilities and digital process options, as well as relationships with business partners across the entire supply chain. The Master in Management with a focus on Digital Business, Technology, and Operations also equips students with the analytical toolkit that forms the foundation for data-driven planning in practice.
While the idea of using data to improve decision-making is by no means new, various methodological advances and the spread of “Big Data” have led to a rapidly growing appreciation and practice of business analytics. The increasing importance of data-driven and evidence-based decisions is not limited to tech giants such as Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google. Companies across all industries and of all sizes are beginning to build data-driven business models, resulting in a growing demand for leaders who can combine business knowledge with a deep understanding of the methodological toolkit to unlock the value of data. This is the essential foundation of the “Data & Business Analytics” concentration in the Master in Management.
