LEARNING GOALS
Graduates develop a clear understanding of the legal and business foundations of bank and corporate financing, as well as their regulatory treatment. They acquire comprehensive knowledge of the economic and legal parameters and instruments needed to analyse, structure, and manage financing transactions — and to evaluate the regulatory oversight of the parties involved.
Graduates are equipped to carry out sophisticated analyses of legal and business challenges in financing transactions and to develop solution concepts built on interdisciplinary thinking. They learn to investigate research questions in order to strengthen their advisory capabilities in complex scenarios. They are able to evaluate investment- and financing-related business models and transactions from a regulatory perspective, negotiate successfully and efficiently, and support lenders, companies, and investors through every stage of a financing or investment process — always with the highest level of professional expertise.
Graduates communicate with professionalism and confidence, and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. They conduct negotiations independently, whether representing a bank before supervisory authorities (national or ECB), or advising on corporate law transactions — at the level of a senior executive, a partner in a consultancy, or a law firm.
Graduates are able to design and manage financial transactions while applying the relevant regulatory frameworks. They understand the boundaries and responsibilities of their professional actions and critically reflect on their decisions.
