FAQs
Our study model is tailored precisely to the needs of students who work full-time. During the accompanying self-study in the specialisation, you can also organise your time flexibly.
With online studies, you can follow lectures from the comfort of your own home or any other location. During classes, you will of course have the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with lecturers and fellow students.
The final event at the end of your studies will be held in person, giving you the opportunity to network with students from other study locations even in the virtual study model.
After completing your business administration studies, you will have the opportunity to enrol in our management programme (dipl. (banking) business administrator).
Alternatively, you can of course continue to pursue our academic follow-up options, such as the Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (lateral entry).
Generally, there is no mandatory attendance requirement for the Business Administration program. The final exam is an exception.
If you are unable to attend a lecture, it is your responsibility to catch up on the missed material using the provided course materials or by consulting with your fellow students.
You will typically receive the detailed course schedule approximately 2–4 weeks before the start of the program. At that time, it will also be confirmed that the course will be held at your preferred study location.
If, contrary to expectations, a course is unable to take place, we will notify you in a timely manner, no later than the end of the registration period. In this case, you have the option to switch to a different study location or to our online program. Alternatively, you can cancel your registration free of charge.
If you choose our online program, you’ll also take your exams online. This means you won’t need to travel to a study location to take the exams.
At the end of the core curriculum, you will take four final exams in the following modules:
• Marketing and Sales Management
• Finance and Risk Management
• Operations Management
• Project Management
In the Project Management module, you will also complete a two-part project assignment: You will develop and work on your own project and participate in a group project.
In the subsequent specialization phase, you will prepare a written assignment of approximately 20 pages. This can be completed as an individual or group project on a topic from your chosen specialization.
There are no additional final exams or oral exams. All grades earned will be included in your final grade.
Yes, admission may be possible even with other degrees. In this case, we will review your qualifications on an individual basis. Depending on your existing degree, additional professional work experience may be required for admission.
How are tuition fees paid?
You can conveniently pay tuition fees in two installments. The first installment is due at the start of the program. Along with the corresponding invoice, you will receive information on when the second installment is due.
To review your application, we need your resume and the relevant diplomas, such as a (banking) business administration certificate or a bachelor’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences.
Once we have received all the required documents in full, your application will be considered complete. We can then review your eligibility and, if you meet the requirements, issue you a binding offer of admission.
