Banking Meets Transformation – with Prof. Dr. Clemens Fuest

On 1 February 2024, the Centre for European Transformation (CfET) co-hosted "Banking meets Transformation", the inaugural event in this series, together with Bankenverband Mitte, hosted by the offices of The Bank of New York Mellon. Professor Clemens Fuest, President of the ifo Institute in Munich, joined as guest speaker for an open and constructive dialogue on how to accelerate the transformation towards a sustainable society and economy — one of the defining challenges of our time.

Setting the tone for future dialogue

The event established sustainable transformation as a shared priority across business, academia, and policy, laying the groundwork for the ongoing exchange between banking, policy, and academia that would follow in subsequent editions of the series.
