Financial Times Global MBA Ranking – Frankfurt School rises four places

Number one in research in Germany

In the 2026 Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Ranking, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management climbs four places compared to 2025. Being one of only a few German universities to make it into the top 100, Frankfurt School ranks 4th in Germany, 31st in Europe and 92nd globally (96th in 2025).

Strong research and outstanding carbon footprint

The business school achieved a particularly strong result in the important “FT research rank” category, where it ranks in first in Germany and 46th worldwide. It also shows an outstanding performance at a global level in the categories “Carbon footprint” (4th worldwide), “Sector Diversity” (12th worldwide) and “International mobility” (18th worldwide).

The annual FT Global MBA Ranking is based on the performance of the world’s leading universities in the categories “Career Progress”, “Diversity” and “Research/ESG”. They are divided into 22 subcategories such as “Salary today”, “Career progress”, “Careers services”, “Female students”, “International faculty”, “FT research rank” or “Carbon footprint”.

Excellent results in prestigious international rankings

With the FT Global MBA Ranking 2026, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management continues its series of strong results in important university rankings. Currently, the business school is the only German university included in the UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings, the most prestigious business schools research ranking worldwide. In addition, it achieved 2nd place in Germany and 31st place worldwide in the latest Corporate Knights Better World MBA Ranking.
