Frankfurt School celebrates its community at Frankfurt Galaxy

A unique stadium experience, inspiring conversations, and plenty of reunions that perfectly sums up FS Alumni Homecoming 2026. Alumni from different generations gathered in Frankfurt on the last weekend of May to enjoy a day of networking, exchange, and shared experiences.

Following a reception for the anniversary cohorts on the Frankfurt School campus, this year’s Homecoming continued at the PSD Bank Arena for the first time. Since 2024, Frankfurt School and Frankfurt Galaxy have been cooperating – making the stadium the ideal setting for the alumni event. During Frankfurt Galaxy’s home game against the Munich Ravens, alumni gathered in the VIP area to reconnect with familiar faces, make new contacts and enjoy the exchange within the Frankfurt School community. The afternoon was officially opened by Frankfurt School President and CEO Professor Nils Stieglitz and Eric Reutemann, CEO of Frankfurt Galaxy and himself a FS alumnus. Professor  Nils Stieglitz highlighted the strong connection between Frankfurt School, the city, and its community: “Connecting this year’s Homecoming with a Frankfurt Galaxy home game is a powerful expression of what defines us: leadership, performance, and a strong sense of community.”

One of the highlights of the day was the keynote by Nadine Nurasyid. As the first German coach in the NFL and the first female head coach in the GFL, she spoke about leadership, high performance, team culture, and communication under pressure. Her talk demonstrated the parallels between elite sports and modern leadership in an inspiring and engaging way.

The programme also included stadium tours, an American football crash course, and the home game between Frankfurt Galaxy and the Munich Ravens.

Networking naturally played an important role throughout the day as well: alumni, students, and Frankfurt School staff used the unique game-day atmosphere for personal conversations, reconnecting, and exchanging new ideas within the community.

As well as Homecoming, there was another reason to celebrate this year: the 30th anniversary of FS Alumni e. V. – complete with muffins featuring a specially designed anniversary motif. The day concluded with the Community Party at Westhafen Pier 1, where participants rounded off the evening together in a relaxed setting.

This year’s Homecoming once again showed how strong the connection between many alumni and Frankfurt School remains, even years after graduation.
