GEURS Ranking: Frankfurt School graduates highly sought after by employers worldwide

Frankfurt School is the only German business school in the ranking
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management celebrates another success in a prestigious international university ranking: In the Global Employability University Ranking and Survey (GEURS) 2027, Frankfurt School has climbed to fifth place in Germany (up from seventh last year). Once again, it is the only German business school among the 300 institutions ranked worldwide whose graduates are most highly valued by employers. Frankfurt School ranks 77th globally. The result highlights the outstanding career prospects offered by a degree from Frankfurt School.
Developed by Emerging and published by Times Higher Education, GEURS is one of the leading international university rankings based on employers’ assessments of graduate employability. For the latest edition, 15,665 employers from 40 countries were surveyed. From a list of 1,200 universities worldwide, they selected those whose graduates they consider best prepared to enter the workforce and meet future challenges. The ranking assesses seven criteria: “Academic Performance”, “Internationality”, “Reputation”, “Focus on Work Expertise”, “Specialisation”, “Impact and Leadership” as well as “Graduate Skills”, with various AI-related skills also assessed as part of this year’s ranking.
Employers recognise Frankfurt School’s particular strengths in Work Expertise, Specialisation and Academic Performance.
“Being the only German business school among the world's top 300 universities and higher education institutions once again is a major achievement for Frankfurt School. We are particularly pleased that this recognition comes from the very people who recruit our graduates and support their professional development: employers,” says Professor Nils Stieglitz, President of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. “Our ambition is not simply to prepare students for their first job, but to equip them with the skills they need to build successful careers and take on responsibility throughout their professional lives. The ability to use artificial intelligence confidently and effectively has become an essential skill. Those who want to succeed in the future must understand AI's potential and know how to harness it responsibly. We are consistently aligning our teaching with these demands. Our ranking as the leading business school in the German-speaking region in the 5W AI Business School Index 2026 confirms that we are on the right track.”
