Frankfurt School is excited to offer again a summer school “The Finance & Management Boot Camp” in July 2021. In the two weeks, students will get to cover different topics; with one week dedicated to Finance and one week dedicated to Management!  Taught entirely in English, with students coming from all around the globe, participants will get to benefit from networking & social events and lectures from industry experts.

Mode of offering will be determined with respect to the current COVID-19 situation. For sure FS will deliver an online summer school version and in case travelling will be possible for at least some students, there will be a hybrid format. Students can choose on their personal situation to study online or in-class on FS campus.

Target Audience

Frankfurt School’s „The Finance and Management Boot Camp“ targets Bachelor and first year Master students seeking to develop or deepen their skills in finance and management in one of Europe’s leading financial and business centers: Frankfurt am Main.


Finance Week

The Finance week will comprise of exciting lectures from different topics and disciplines within the field of Finance.

Management Week

The Management Week will comprise of exciting lectures from different topics and disciplines within the field of Management.

Topics could include:

Sport Activities

It wouldn't be a boot camp if we didn't offer you at least a little sport! If you are coming to the in-person segment of the summer school you can look forward to sport activities like yoga sessions on our beautiful FS terrace overlooking the Frankfurt Skyline, going for a run in the lovely Grüneburgpark which is close to the hotel, or making use of the hotel gym or with our gym partner for students: Sportend

Studying online? Don't worry we will provide you with helpful digital tips and exercises to stay active and have fun!

Digital Learning

Unable to travel? No problem! The Finance & Management Boot Camp will be offered online as well! Students studying virtually will have access to our online campus - where they can engage in our social forums, interact with lecturers, and download all their course material. All the lectures will occur in real time via Zoom allowing the participants to interact, ask questions, and take part in group projects and assignments. All of the programme components have been adapted so you can experience Frankfurt virtually!


Site Visits & Excursions

During the two weeks participants will have the opportunity to engage in virtual or should circumstances allow - in person site visits. Site visits could include museums, company visits, or presentations from industry experts!

As well as seeing the sights in Frankfurt, you’ll be making a trip to Heidelberg, where attractions include the wor­ld-famous castle, a vibrant student scene, many fine restaurants, shopping opportunities, and cultural offerings.



If you plan on joining the in-person event you will be staying at the THE FLAG West M. Centrally located in Frankfurt near the Alte Oper, and the Frankfurt Banking District you will be able to experience the finest Frankfurt has to offer!

Students will be booked in their business single rooms.

*Students have until 30 June 2021 to cancel/change their in-person mode of attendance for a refund of the additional costs 


The programme includes 20-25 hours of pre-reading and two daily hours of self-study. There will be a pre-reading list in advance.

The programme is running for two weeks: Students will start with a finance week followed by a management week.


5 ECTS (7 ECTS possible through additional assignment)


After completing the 2-week programme, you will receive a “Certificate of Participation”, with your name, name of the programme, credits (ECTS) achieved and overall grade (out of 100 points).

Each lecturer will grade you based on different aspects. Some examples could include: a group presentation, a short test or oral participation during the class.

Price & Discounts

Price: There will be two different tuition fees depending on delivery mode:

Online Only EUR 1,950
In-Person EUR 3,500 incl. accommodation & lunches

Partner Discount Students coming from our partner universities will receive a discount of 25% (Early Bird not included)
Early Bird Discount Students applying before 31 March 2021 will get a discount of 20%.

Eligible participants: Highly motivated and open-minded Bachelor or Master level students in good academic standing with a sufficient level of English.

Funding Opportunities

Frankfurt School is very excited to offer DAAD-funding opportunities* again for summer school students.

Potential Funding Possibilities Include:

1. Travel costs: International students may receive a travel grant. The final award amount will depend on the country (range EUR 200- EUR 1,550)

2. Accommodation costs: International students can receive a subsidy for their stay in Frankfurt during the summer school, in total up to EUR 500 reduction of the overall course fee.

*Students studying only online may also be eligible for other funding possibilities!

How to Apply/Criteria:

Students who wish to apply for the funding have to meet the following criteria:

  • Eligible student status (Bachelor or Master or MBA)
  • Strong academic performance 
  • Submission of the student´s transcript of records
  • Submission of a short motivation letter on why the student wishes to attend the Finance & Management Boot Camp
