Professor of Practice in Financial Transformation

Since November 2025, Prof. Dr. Eckart Windhagen has served as Co-Director of CfET and Professor of Practice in financial transformation at Frankfurt School. He has more than three decades of experience advising global banks including leadership of McKinsey’s Global Banking Practice and membership on the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) Council.
With previous focus on long-term transformation that integrates strategy organization and execution, he brings a unique blend of strategic and analytical expertise. Eckart will help anchor CfET as a platform where research, policy, and industry practice meet to design scalable solutions for Europe’s transformation.
