Harshini Shanker

Assistant Professor of Finance

Harshini Shanker is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Her research interests lie in asset pricing, financial intermediation, and game theory, with a particular focus on strategic interactions and information frictions in financial markets. She studies how these forces shape investor behaviour, market outcomes, and the real economy. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from London Business School. Before pursuing an academic career, she worked in strategy consulting at Bain & Company.
