Our Master in Applied Data Science programme is a response to the increasing demand from across different industries for business savvy data scientists with the collaborative skills to match. The programme combines theory with practice, giving you hands-on experience with our partner companies, which include Ximalia, Deutsche Börse Group, PwC and more.
Our pre-experience Master programmes follow a unique time model that permits students to work part-time whilst pursuing a full-time Master’s degree. We call this the 3-Day Model. Students typically attend classes three days a week, including Saturdays. This leaves three working days for self-study, language courses or part-time employment.

The FS Outdoor Campus is one of the first things students experience during the Master's Orientation Week. Two days in the countryside packed with fun, team building and new friends leaves our students full of energy and ready for their international learning experience. For the first time, this event was held in the Westerwald region and gave our new Master's students a real sense of the FS Spirit.
The offsite event started with team-building activities, during which the students reflected on strategy and took part in team games covering key themes such as ethics and team dynamics. In the evening, the students attended a discussion on career opportunities. On the second day, students took part in another round of team exercises, followed by a case study workshop in the afternoon. Afterwards students were given the opportunity to network at an alumni event. On the Friday, the group attended a corporate presentation at the European Investment Bank.
