Welcome to Frankfurt School: New MBA class starts its journey

On 18 September 2026, Frankfurt School officially welcomed its new MBA students from the Full-Time MBA, Part-Time MBA, Executive MBA and MBA in International Healthcare Management programmes to the campus.
Frankfurt School President Professor Nils Stieglitz welcomed the new students and set the tone for an exciting and enriching, yet also challenging, period ahead. He encouraged them to make the most of their time at Frankfurt School, particularly by exchanging ideas and building strong relationships with their fellow students and faculty.
Following the welcome, Tina Van Hoecke, Global Senior Channel Manager Organized Chains at Arla Foods and alumna of Frankfurt School Executive MBA Class of 2024, shared personal insights from her own MBA studies.
In her keynote, Van Hoecke encouraged the students to embrace the opportunities ahead and to step beyond what they already know. For her, the MBA was not only about deepening her knowledge, but also about broadening her perspective, challenging herself and learning from people with very different professional and cultural backgrounds.
She also looked back on memorable moments from her time at Frankfurt School – from developing a start-up idea during an elective in Tel Aviv to exploring Change Management in Dublin and taking part in a Women in Business weekend. Experiences like these, she said, often become some of the most valuable parts of an MBA.
Her message to the new students was clear: make the most of the people around you, stay curious, remain open to opportunities you may not see yet and stay connected: “Graduation is not really the end of your relationship with Frankfurt School. It is simply a different stage of it.”
The evening concluded with a dinner in the Campus Mall, bringing together over 160 new students, faculty and staff. A great start to a new chapter – and to becoming part of the Frankfurt School community.
