The programme is ideal for banking professionals who want to deepen their applied knowledge, for individuals preparing academically for the Betriebswirt programme, and for those who do not yet meet all entry requirements for the Betriebswirt but wish to close that gap.
Study Model
The qualification includes a total of 30 virtual lectures, 4 virtual exam preparation sessions, and one examination day.
The lectures take place on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The Banking Professional programme is designed to be completed part-time, making it easy to combine with full-time employment.

Admission requirements
To be admitted to this programme, you must fulfil the following requirements:
- A successfully completed final examination as a bank clerk
- A further training qualification recognized by a banking institution, usually lasting 10 months
- At least two years of professional experience after completing the Banking Professional program
- A Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) qualification other than “certified banking specialist” and at least one year of professional experience in banking and finance
- Other qualifications after individual assessment
