ACCREDITATIONS

Frankfurt School stands for excellence in research and teaching and is committed to a culture of continuous improvement. As an international business school, it strives to continually develop quality, innovation, and impact in teaching, research, and practice, benefiting students, businesses, and society. National and international accreditations are therefore an essential part of quality assurance and further development.

The results of the accreditation process confirm the Frankfurt School's commitment to excellence with outstanding quality in its teaching programs. In particular, the university's consistent strategic development, its high level of innovation, and the close link between academic excellence and practice were highlighted positively.

The Frankfurt School's commitment to sustainability and responsible leadership, as well as its strong international positioning, were also particularly recognised. At the same time, the accreditations offer the opportunity for consultation with degree programs and external experts as part of the peer review process.

TRIPLE CROWN ACCREDITATION

Frankfurt School is one of only 1% of business schools worldwide to be accredited by all three leading global accreditation organisations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Together, these are known as the 'Triple Crown', an accolade that only a select group of institutions worldwide can boast. This recognition underscores Frankfurt School's academic excellence and its contribution to society.

Neues AACSB Accredited Logo – Teil der Triple Accreditation

Frankfurt School was first accredited by AACSB in 2014 and most recently reaccredited in 2024 for an additional five years. The accreditation decision particularly highlighted Frankfurt School's steady growth in recent years, its innovative spirit, the large number of student initiatives, and its strong connection to the real world. AACSB is the largest global network of business schools, connecting faculty, students, education experts, and companies. As a global accreditation organisation, it promotes excellence and continuous improvement in business schools. Its high standards encourage commitment, innovation, and the social impact of business schools.

The Association of MBAs was founded in 1967 and is committed to high-quality standards in MBA programs, among other areas. AMBA accreditation confirms that Frankfurt School's MBA programs meet the highest quality standards in teaching, learning content, and curriculum design, as well as in career development, employability, and collaboration with students, alumni, and employers. Particular praise was given to the school's exemplary commitment to quality improvement, its open and innovative learning culture, the lasting impact of its programs on students' personal and professional development, and the effective design of its curriculum.

Equis logo

Frankfurt School was accredited by the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development, also known as EQUIS) in 2014 and most recently reaccredited for an additional five years in 2022. EQUIS accreditation is an institutional accreditation that takes a holistic approach to ensuring high quality in teaching and research. It also takes into account aspects such as internationality, practical relevance, ethics, responsibility, and sustainability. The accreditation decision particularly recognised the significant growth in research quality, which is attributable to both individual achievements and the work of the research centres, as well as the continuous development of Frankfurt School and its links to practice.
