Frankfurt School jumps 16 places to enter global Top 50 in Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2026

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management has achieved a significant rise in the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2026, with its Master in Management climbing 16 places to 46th worldwide.

The programme also strengthened its position across Europe and Germany. Among European business schools, Frankfurt School moved up eleven places to 40th, up from 51st last year. In Germany, it advanced from eighth to sixth place. The ranking comprises 100 leading business schools worldwide, 80 of which are based in Europe.

Strong gains in categories “Aims achieved”, “Female students” and “Alumni network”

Frankfurt School recorded particularly strong progress in several key categories. In “aims achieved”, which measures the extent to which graduates fulfilled the goals that motivated them to pursue the programme, Frankfurt School climbed from 35th place last year to 12th worldwide in 2026. The programme also performs strongly in “female students”, with women representing 53 per cent of the student body, as well as in the alumni network category.

Consistently strong national and international ranking results

The Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking result adds to Frankfurt School’s strong performance across major national and international rankings.

In the 5W AI Business School Index 2026, Frankfurt School is the number one business school in German-speaking countries, ranks among the top five in Europe and places 29th worldwide. In the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2026, Frankfurt School ranks 92nd worldwide, 31st in Europe and fourth in Germany.

Frankfurt School also achieved leading positions in the Süddeutsche Zeitung ranking of Germany’s best private universities 2026, ranking first in both “Business, Management & Entrepreneurship” and “Finance, Accounting & Banking”. In Manager Magazin’s “Best Auditors” ranking, Frankfurt School was once again recognised as Germany’s leading university for the education of auditors.
