QS Rankings: Frankfurt School programmes achieve two #1 places in Germany for employability

The QS World University Rankings 2027 and the QS EMBA Ranking 2026 confirm Frankfurt School of Finance & Management’s strong position among the world’s leading business schools. The ranking results underscore the excellent international standing of Frankfurt School’s Master’s and MBA programmes. 

Of the five Frankfurt School programmes assessed by QS, three programmes rank 2^nd in Germany, and two rank 4^th.

All Frankfurt School programmes achieved particularly impressive results in the categories Employability and Employer Reputation – in a time when career prospects and strong employer recognition matter most to students.

Master’s programmes deliver excellent career prospects

For the QS Business Master’s Rankings 2027, QS assessed 1,132 programmes across the world.

Frankfurt School’s Master of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science places 2^nd in Germany and 63^rd worldwide, the Master of Finance ranks 4^th in Germany and 55^th worldwide, while the Master in Management also ranks 4^th in Germany and 45^th worldwide. 

Frankfurt School’s results are particularly strong when it comes to preparing graduates for successful careers. In the Employability category, all three evaluated Frankfurt School Master’s programmes rank among the top 3 in Germany:

• Master of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science: #1 in Germany, #20 worldwide
• Master of Finance: #3 in Germany, #31 worldwide 
• Master in Management: #3 in Germany, #22 worldwide 

The programmes also achieve excellent results in the category Return on Investment, while the Master in Management and the Master of Finance additionally stand out for their highly international student bodies.

Frankfurt School’s MBA and EMBA – #2 in Germany and outstanding employer reputation

Frankfurt School’s MBA programmes also demonstrate their strength in an internationally highly competitive market: The Full-time MBA ranks 2^nd in Germany and 53^rd worldwide among more than 400 programmes assessed in the QS Global MBA Ranking 2027. Once again, career impact is a standout strength: Frankfurt School’s Full-time MBA ranks 1^st in Germany and 22^nd worldwide for Employability and achieves very strong scores for both Employer Reputation and Value for Money.

Frankfurt School’s Executive MBA also performs exceptionally well. In the QS Executive MBA Ranking 2026, published in April, the programme ranks 2^nd in Germany and 62^nd worldwide among 215 programmes ranked globally. Its strongest global results include #27 for Diversity and #30 for Employer Reputation.

The QS rankings draw on extensive feedback from the international business and academic communities: The 2027 rankings incorporate responses from 37,660 employers and 43,870 academics worldwide. The QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings evaluate programmes across Employability, Value for Money, Thought Leadership, Alumni Outcomes and Diversity. The QS Executive MBA Ranking follows a separate methodology covering Career Outcomes, Diversity, Employer Reputation, Executive Profile and Thought Leadership.

The latest QS results continue a series of strong performances for Frankfurt School across major national and international rankings. Recent examples include the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking, with Frankfurt School climbing 16 places to enter the global top 50, ranking 46^th worldwide. Frankfurt School also ranks #1 among business schools in German-speaking countries in the 5W AI Business School Index 2026, placing among the top five in Europe and #29 worldwide. And in the Süddeutsche Zeitung ranking of Germany’s best private universities 2026, Frankfurt School takes first place in both “Business, Management & Entrepreneurship” and “Finance, Accounting & Banking”.
