There is no permanent connection between our web server and your browser. Each time a new webpage is called up or a completed form is sent, a new connection between your browser and our web server is created. In this process data is exchanged and the connection is then terminated. In order, for example, to facilitate processing of data entered via a multi-page form, cookies are stored on a temporary basis.
Cookies are information that is sent by our web server to your browser which stores it in the memory and sends it back at the time of a subsequent access to our web server. A distinction is drawn here between session cookies and persistent cookies. After your browser is closed, only persistent cookies can be used for a future connection of your browser with our web server because it is stored permanently as a text file on the hard drive of your computer. Session cookies are lost when the browser is closed.
For our website we use both session cookies and persistent cookies in which usage data and user data can be stored.
You can prevent storage of cookies by making the relevant settings in your browser software. However, we draw your attention to the fact that if you do so it may not be possible to make full use of all the functions in this website.
You can also prevent recording of the personal data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) for Google as well as the processing of the data by Google by downloading and installing the web browser plug-in available under the following link.
You can prevent recording by Google Analytics by setting and opt-out cookie which will prevent future recording of your data when you visit this website. For this purpose please click here: Deactivate Google Analytics
Google AdWords Conversion Tracking has been deployed on this website. Google AdWords places a cookie on your browser if you have been directed to this website via a Google advertisement. The cookie is valid for a specific period and it makes it possible to ascertain whether a user has been directed to the website via a Google advertisement during this period. At the same time it is possible to ascertain whether the user has carried out a particular action that is relevant for the operator of the advertisement (conversion) (registration for the newsletter etc.). This technology serves the purpose of producing conversion statistics for customers of Google AdWords which provide information about the overall number of users who have looked at an advertisement. This is important for companies in order to ascertain the profitability of marketing investments.
The conversion data compiled by Google AdWords only provides overall information concerning advertisements and keywords and cannot be assigned to any particular customer.
If you do not want this, you can prohibit storage of the cookies required for these technologies, for example via your browser settings. In this case your visit will not be included in the user statistics.
We and Google or Bing will, however, still receive the statistical information about how many users have visited this page. If you do not even wish to be included in this statistic, you can prohibit it with the help of additional programs for your browser (e.g. with Add-on Ghostery).
Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager. Website tags can be managed via an interface. The tool Google Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) is a non-cookie domain and it does not record any personal data. The Tag Manager makes the inclusion and management of the tags easier for us. Tags are small code elements which, amongst other things, serve the purpose of measuring traffic and visitor behaviour, recording the effect of online advertising and social channels, remarketing and setting up the orientation to target groups and testing and optimising websites. We only use the tags of Google Analytics and Google AdWords Conversion Tracking. Google Tag Manager itself does not access data collected in connection with the individual tags. If deactivation has been effected on domain or cookie level, this will remain effective for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager.
This page includes YouTube contents, a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In this way information will be sent to service providers under certain circumstances and, if applicable, used by them. This information may also include personal data. We use a two-click solution to prevent the unknown and unwanted recording of data and data transmission to service providers. To activate videos you have to click on the relevant button. The recording of information and the transfer of it to the service provider will ensue only after this activation. We ourselves do not record any personal data by means of the video or by the use of it. At the time of activation Google will be informed about the visit to a particular website. If you are registered with Google at the same time, Google will be able to identify you as a visitor to the relevant site. You can find out which data is recorded in this process and how it is used in the data protection information provided by Google: www.google.com/privacy. You will find setting options for protection of your private sphere at: www.google.com/dashboard.
