From June 5 to 6, 2018, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management attended the European Development Days (EDD), Europe's largest annual development conference, in Brussels
The EDD 2018 focused on topics around "Women and Girls at the Forefront of Sustainable development: protect, empower, invest".
At the EDD Global Village, Frankfurt School showcased how to boost women’s skills and competencies to become influential leaders. In order to respond with the EDD 2018 topic, the business school´s booth presented one of the it´s newest innovations – the Women´s Leadership Academy, which is going to take place from September 17 to 21, 2018.
In order to closely interact with the conference`s participants, the EDD 2018 visitors were invited to take a 10 minute self-assessment providing an overview of their key leadership strengths and weaknesses and how to communicate and connect with others. Many female EDD visitors took the opportunity to join a snapshot coaching on public speaking with Ute Bühler, Senior Trainer and Consultant Expert at Frankfurt School. Those who wanted to learn about gender-focused projects implemented by Frankfurt School were provided with an overview over the business school´s consulting activities.
The Women’s Leadership Academy aims to maximise the participants’ leadership effectiveness, through a unique combination of coaching, networking, analytical reflection and tailor-made personal development. This year’ s Women’s Leadership Academy will be held at the Frankfurt School campus over a period of five days in September.
