AMP 2022 1266x321

Frankfurt am Main, 09.09.2022 12:00:00

The premiere intake of the new Frankfurt School Advanced Management Programme (AMP) got off to a successful start on 8 September. Kicking off with a welcome session with Frankfurt School President and CEO Professor Nils Stieglitz, the first day was all about expanding horizons and creating a common vision of the most pressing executive challenges. A dinner in the Executive Lounge with a welcome by Professor Claus Rerup, Vice President Academic Affairs and Professor of Management, closed the day and provided a perfect setting for networking.

The 16 participants of the first AMP intake, top executives from various industries – including consumer goods, financial services, non-governmental organisations and pharmaceuticals – will explore the geopolitical, economic, technological, social and environmental forces that are transforming companies, business models and markets. Participants expand their competences and learn to actively start and shape strategic changes in their companies.

The English-language, part-time programme is divided into four modules of three days each and is aimed at experienced top-level managers from all sectors. The topics of the four modules are: Discovering 21st Century Management, Building Future Businesses, Transforming People & Organisations and Creating Sustainable Value. As an "executive summary for executives", the course offers a tailor-made programme for experienced managers who want to refresh their knowledge in a condensed form and gather new impulses. The lecturers of the Advanced Management Programme include numerous Frankfurt School professors, for example Professor Roland Koch, Professor of Management Practice in Regulated Environments, and Professor Ulf Moslener, Professor of Sustainable Energy Finance. In addition to the academic programme, there are numerous opportunities for networking and sharing experiences in the group, for example creative impulse sessions and slots for sharing experiences and challenges that participants are currently facing.
